Obituary

Susan Lynn (Hamilton) Green was born on August 26th, 1949, in Portland, Oregon, to Wilford and Dorothy Hamilton. She passed away July 8th, 2021, at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, Washington.

She was the oldest of 8 children. Susan’s mother Dorothy passed away when Susan was 19, and Susan became a significant anchor in the lives of her 7 siblings.

In 1967, Susan married Melvin Terrill and they had 3 sons: Kevin, Chris and Jason. She and Melvin were later divorced.

Susan then married Robert Green. Robert preceded her in death in July of 2004.

In 2006, Susan met her companion, Robert Zenor. They had 15 years of a devoted and loving relationship.

Susan spent most of her childhood and adult life in the Estacada-Sandy-Gresham area. She went to Sandy Union High School and then studied at Mt. Hood Community College.

She became a machinist in the aircraft industry, and worked for Boeing of Portland, where she retired after 34 years.

Her interests in life were many and varied: family, friends, traveling and keeping active.

Susan was capable and talented. She loved quilting and working in her flowerbeds.

Her yard was always beautiful. Camping with Robert and her dogs was her favorite activity.

She was always busy, but never too busy to remember special days, keeping in touch with family, friends. She was always there to help out in difficult times.

Susan is survived by her 3 children: Kevin, Chris and Jason (Terrill). Siblings Dennis, Clark, Jeff (Hamilton) and Teri Webb. 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many, much loved, nieces and nephews.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Wilford and Dorothy Hamilton and siblings Eddie and Brad Hamilton and Vicky Dean.

Funeral services are planned: Graveside at Forester Cemetery 31885 Oregon 211, Eagle Creek, Oregon on July 31st, 2021, at 2:00 pm. There will be a reception following at 33625 SE Colorado Rd., Sandy, Oregon from 3:00-8:00 pm

I had the priviledge to know sue for 30 plus yrs as a friend and co-worker.Always ready and willing to help but she did not suffer people she considered to be fools.She personally helped me out more times than i can count.A great lady and will be sorely missed. craig schwartz
