Troy Tribby died suddenly Sunday November 4, 2012. He was 48.

Services will be held at a later date.

Troy Duane Tribby was born November 5, 1969 to Linda and Dennis Tribby in Portland. He was raised in Sandy and The Dalles.

After high school Troy attended Central Texas University where he earned certificates of completion in Computer Technology as well as Business Management. He also became a First Class Personal Trainer. He trained in Aikido and was working towards his Sho-don. Troy was a small business owner and also worked as a commercial truck driver and general contractor working in various Central Oregon cities.

Troy married Andrea Carr in Reno, NV on September 18, 2010. They made their home in Ashland, Oregon where Troy continued his training in Aikido.

Troy’s hobbies included Aikido, meditation, spiritual healing, Native American Flute, outdoor activities including riding ATV’s and motorcycles, personal training and riding endurance horses. He was a member of the National Federation of Personal Trainers (NFPT).

Survivors include his wife, Andrea of Ashland; parents, Dennis and Linda Tribby of Fort Rock, OR and a son, Thomas Fristed of Madras, OR.

The family requests donations be made to the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma_P.O. Box 1326 Miami, Oklahoma 74355.

It appears you made it home to our maker before me my friend. I'll always wonder what happened to cause your passing Troy. We had some fun times and you are surely missed.

Hi, I'm not sure if you remember me but i was troys roommate about the whole time he lived in florence co.Troy was a good friend and we had each others back.He was a great guy with a heart of gold. I'll never forget his and your kindness when my brother gary died of cancer. I allways thought i would make it out to oregon to see him again. That breakes my heart.Would you still have a picture of me and troy? I sent my pictures home but our trailer burned before i got out.
