Virginia Ann Deininger, age 82, passed away peacefully at her residence at The Springs Happy Valley.
Virginia ‘Ginny’ was born in Portland, Oregon on March 21, 1942 to William and Cecilia Dollowitch. She was the sixth of six children and was raised on her parent’s farm in Boring, Oregon. She graduated from Sandy High School and later married and eventually divorced Kenneth Anderson. In November 1993, Virginia married John Deininger and lived in Redland, Oregon. She was widowed in June 1996 after John died in a fatal auto accident.
Virginia loved to travel, gamble (especially slots!), playing cards, ceramics, and cooking. Family was very important to her and she was a very loving person, as a sister, aunt, and friend. he loved and especially enjoyed dogs and had a very personal and loving relationship with each of her dogs. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Virginia is survived by her sister Dolores Boitano and many nieces and nephews. Virginia is preceded in death by her husband John, her parents William and Cecilia Dollowitch, her brother William Dollowitch, and sisters Charlotte Packard, Madeline Plumondore Green, and Rita Woody.
