Welches resident, Virginia Orr died at her home on Thursday, August 20, 2009. She was 81.
A private graveside service will be held at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
She was born, Virginia Viola Kreps on October 23, 1927 in Portland to Frank and Tennie (Watkins) Kreps.
Virginia was united in marriage to Jack Orr on September 21, 1948.
For the last 22 years, Virginia and Jack have resided on the mountain in Welches.
Surviving is her husband Jack; her sons, Bruce Orr of Desert Air, Washington, Brian Orr of Renton, Washington and Lee Orr of Portland; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
