Wayne Richard Maness passed away on Thursday November 5, 2009 at Avamere in Sandy of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. He was 76.
At his request no services will be held.

Wayne was born in Lawrence Kansas to James D. and Lucille (Halderman) Maness on August 9, 1933.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sammie; son, Gerald Maness of Denver, CO; daughter Gina Welsh of Sandy; sisters, Ruth Cobb of Gresham and Judy Lehman of Wichita, KS; and 2 granddaughters, Erin and Morgan Welsch.
