Wendi L. Holder, age 62, of Sandy Oregon passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Portland Providence Hospital. She was born February 25, 1962 in John Day Oregon to James “Speed” Holder and Barbara (Walker) Holder. Wendi attended Oregon State University where she received her MBA and went on to work for Chevron in San Francisco, Sprint in Washington D.C. and most recently was a Sr. Financial Analyst for Hanna Anderson in Portland Oregon.
Wendi loved spending time with her family, friends and two cats. She particularly enjoyed hosting an annual barbeque where she would prepare huge amounts of food and send everyone home packing delicious leftovers. She was a generous friend and relative who always had her door and checkbook open to anyone in need.
She is survived by her best friend Debb Sparkman, father James, mother Barbara, brothers Jeff and Justin, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins.
No immediate services are planned for Wendi but the family does intend to have a barbeque in her honor at a later date.
